Default Quality Road

Anyone else impressed by his run today? I think he can win most of the elite races. It would be exciting to see Quality Road and Rachel duel on the front end in the Breeder's Cup Classic

Now that Todd A. Pletcher is his trainer, the sky is the limit, Ned Evans must know he is in the hands of the best trainer in America!!!!

Glad to see he has overcome his gate issues. Will put him back on the top of my "list" after his win today.

If he can stay healthy and right, I dont think anyone would doubt he is her only TRUE COMPETITION, I dont think its far fetched at all to think he can defeat her, IMO it would not even be a upset. When right QR is as good as we have had in years.

Relax Francis..Although TAP is on a roll ASS juice is just as special. Remember Summer Bird the highly overrated colt crushed QR in the Travers.. He is a nice G1 colt..Rachel is once in a lifetime filly.

What has he done to earn this rep? Nothing he has ever done on a track has been really all that impressive to me. He is a nice horse but a threat to Rachel Alexandra? So far, he hasnt been a threat to summer bird.

I strony disagree, and I know 2 well respected DT'ers agree with me on QR being able to defeat Rachel and I hope they come on here and speak up and back me up. Nothing about Summer Bird was overrated he was a hard knocker who is bred to go long and he thrived doing it. QR was coming off 1 sprint prep for the Travers and he cought slop. He is also a once and a lifetime horse, please trust me on this one, he is as good as anything we have had this decade, and we should all hope he stays right so he can show it.

And another thing You and I Forever IMO is decent, he was cutting back, working bullets and def. juiced. He gets a DREAM TRIP, and QR turns him back well in hand off of a 4 month layoff.

I don't think he ever had gate issues.I personally think it was that stupid helicopter overhead that was freaking him out, them being blindfolded.

They wont speak up, they are kind of embarrassed to admit they talk to me outside of this place.

Yeah he did.....at times it's perplexing why this horse is a magnet for critical comments, especially from his performances at GP itself. He ran against the comp that showed up and had another nice win over GP. It's odd so many comments are about what he's not over the last year or so....
