In that way, I think the new equipment could help a guy who is a 18 handicap more than it would help a pro. The pros are almost always hitting the ball square in the center of the club face any way. It's the 18 handicaps that are hitting the ball off the toe and that type of thing.

Even with the new technology, the guy is still an 18 handicap, so it isn't helping his game a lick. I know of very few people that used to be a 25 handicap and now are an 18 because of equipment. And I don't know and 10 handicappers that used to be 18-20 handicappers before changing equipment. Until 18 handicappers start spending 80-85% of their practice time chipping and putting, they will remain 18 handicaps for life, I don't care how great the technology is.

Let's just say hypothetically that you have a guy who is an 18 handicap right now and he is using Hogan Apex irons from the 1980s and a wood driver. If he got a new set of Calloways, don't you think he might be able to get down to a 14 handicap?

No. I don't know of any 18 handicap that can chip or putt with any consistency. If they could, they wouldn't be 18 handicaps. New equipment alone isn't gonna drop their handicap.

Default Little Johnny Getting in the Act

Even Little Johnny is getting in on this.

It is near the Christmas break of the school year. The students have turned in all their work and there is really nothing more to do. All the
children are restless and the teacher decides to have an early dismissal.

Teacher: "Whoever answers the questions I ask, first and correctly can leave early today."

Little Johnny says to himself "Good, I want to get outta here. I'm smart and will answer the question."

Teacher: "Who said 'Four Score and Seven Years Ago'?"

Before Johnny can open his mouth, Susie says, "Abraham Lincoln."

Teacher: "That's right Susie, you can go home."

Johnny is mad that Susie answered the question first.

Teacher: "Who said 'I Have a Dream'?"

Before Johnny can open his mouth, Mary says, "Martin Luther King."

Teacher: "That's right Mary, you can go."

Johnny is even madder than before.

Teacher: "Who said 'Ask not, what your country can do for you'?"

Before Johnny can open his mouth, Nancy says, "John F. Kennedy."

Teacher: "That's right Nancy, you may also leave."

Johnny is boiling mad that he has not been able to answer to any of the questions.

When the teacher turns her back Johnny says, "I wish these bitches would keep their mouths shut!"

The teacher turns around: "NOW WHO SAID THAT?"

Johnny: "TIGER WOODS. CAN I GO NOW?"

Surprised you hadn't heard that one before today. That is an old joke that was going around back in the Rodney King/Mark Furhman sh*t back in LA.

Okay......Tiger's problems and how he chooses to address them with his family are his business, but why aren't the police taking a harder line with the 9 Iron to the head or assault with a deadly weapon.....he's a schmuck but she could have easily killed him with very little effort. No doubt the courts would look at a nine iron as a deadly weapon.
