I disagree. I'm a huge fan of all jockeys and when any of them have a great accomplishment I always make a big deal of it.

As for inflections. Anitbiotics are usually helpful.

Are you a huge fan of abuse like Victor's in the last race?

Is it harder to call a rac with 4 horses in it? I would think these 5 horse fields are an easy study..

Vic, seriously Cal racing is in serious trouble.. When can we expect Rosario to come to Philly Park during the day and Penn Nat at nigh?. Love your calls, think Joel Rosario is terriffic come east and grab a handful of cash. You never know when you are going to need a few extra bucks

I make my worst mistakes and most pathetic calls in short field routes. I tend to try and say too much rather than just reporting the action. The pacing and rythem of the race is very different. I hate it.

Philly Park in the day and Penn. Nat. at night. Ah.... NO!

Victor in a few months you will be singing a different tune.. Your tracks are in crisis mode. I am not down on you or the state it's just a fact, no horses horrible purses and honestly a poor future. How couldn't you ship your horse(Joel) east? Look it's cold and windy but 5k claimers are runner for 15k with12 horses in a field and 5 AE's... Your wonderful HP had trouble placing 50 horses on a weekend card.. Love the climate just not the horse climate.

He's from the Dominican. I'm from San Diego. We don't do cold. The last two days here have felt like the arctic freeze and it's been in the 50's. We're staying with So. Cal as long as there are races here.

We all grow up when he have too. If Tiger had Earl around he wouldn't have started 9 other prides. "Joel, we will be fine, and you will be 2.5 hour plane ride from home twice a week, I can get you on a jet on Monday from NE Philly to María Montez..You ride and I will make sure you earn that's my job I am a professional. California is currently dead, we can always come back..

Freddy wants to pull the best jock in So. Cal out for freaking Pennsylvania - right before the start of Santa Anita.

That's comedy.

In the winter, the money is in So. Cal.

Pennsylvania only runs a handful of graded stakes a year.

look at the jockey money leaders around mid April every year. West coast riders always dominate it - unless the Dubai World Cup money is factored in.

The guy who might want to move his tack to PA is the rider who isn't getting on any good horses - and is having trouble finiding mounts because of the small fields in bread and butter races.

Even though the purses are good at Philly Park, there simply are not enough big stakes races there. If you're the leading rider at Philly Park, you're not going to make anything close to what Joel makes right now. Here is a link to the national standings. Joel is 6th leading rider in the country with earnings of $12.6 million. He couldn't make anything close to that at Philly Park. If you're the leading rider at Philly Park, you won't even be in the top 20 in money won.
