Williams learns he's fathered 2 kids by the lovely Kelly Preston (Travolta's wife in real life), and has to overcome his awkwardness around kids, very predictable ending as well of course. you did remind me of something though.

battlefield earth. the supremely awful travolta flick based on hack writer/cult founder l. ron hubbard's non-sensical novel.

i never saw it raw but mike nelson and kevin murphy (formerly of mst3k) did a great overdub.

that movie was truly awful.

The book was kinda fun. Way too drawn out and unbelievable, but fun nonetheless.

Mission Earth though, that ten volume series from Hubbard was brilliant.
