Why would they go and do a thing like that...I like not knowing who is in on Saturday until Thursday evening.

Reminds me of all the stories my Uncle tells me when years ago..(b4 AL GORE invented the internet) he would drive from TN to Churchill or Turfway and didnt even know who was running that day until they into E-town and bought the DRF at a gas station.

Those were the days. I used to make the 2+ hour drive to the track, buy the Form on the way in the door and handicap like a maniac. Those 20 minutes or so between races were a Godsend...

Im gonna have to try that one day...just for kicks.

I will say I have been bailed out many times on poor betting days, by an off the cuff action play at a track that I had not studied the PP's until I bought the form at the track.
There is no better action than Post Parade handicapping.

I have had some of my best days not knowing who was running prior to that day's races. I love pouring over the DRF the night before but it often leads to a lot of overanalyzing at least with me.
