But why come clean now? Why make his family go through this? Does he have an agenda other than wanting to sell more copies of his books? Wouldnt you think between him and his wife they have more than enough money for 10lifetimes?

It just seems like something doesnt fit. He got away with something a long time ago that enabled him the opportunity to keep playing a sport that made him millions of dollars and look like Mr Clean in the public's eye.

Isnt it kind of ironic that he use to pimp a camera company whose motto was "Image is Everything?"

And lets be honest if he was doing crystal meth in 1997 then you can put 2 and 2 together and figure out Brooke was doing it as well. Notice how he didn't tell the truth on that one.

a lot of stuff gets found out. maybe he wanted to have it all come out on his terms, rather than go through others exposing him, and him having to deal with all of that.

as for kids playing their parents sports, i doubt archie manning gets grief that two of his kids followed in his footsteps.
