not at all , why play for a 6 pt lead , even eli hinted in his press conference , we left a window open for them to come back and get us and they did

now if they only needed 3 in that spot how urgent is rivers to go for the td , he is going to play and turner is going to play for a fg

Eli implied that they should have been more agressive trying to score a TD(and icing the game) not that they should have gone for it on 4th down. You are taking what he is sayng out of context. If they didn't hold on 1st down they would have had 2nd and goal from the 1. It isn't Coughlan's fault that they held.
