hats off to the guys who made a score
They looked as shocked as anyone after the race. There was around $1100 bet t win on the horse out of a win pool of around $130000.

No one takes any real action on a horse like that.

not true at all chuck , the max payout would have been maybe 40 to 50 / 1 at an offshore book

they could have spread it around a bunch of different one's

This, too, is not accurate. Several of the better offshores now pay full track odds for WPS, but limit the amount you can win in a single race. At Bookmaker.com the limit for Churchill Downs is $30K. Same thing at 5Dimes.com.

The horse looked okay on the track too in a race where not a whole lot of them seemed interested in being there, fwiw.

Horse came back to the winner's circle like he would've cleared his NW1X condition if it were the next race on the card. Wow.

so even if i am wrong on a cap of 50/1 and instead they get full track odds how do you know a score wasn't made at an offshore book yesterday?

I didn't say anything about whether a score was or was not made. I was only saying that they would not have to settle for 50-1 offshore, as you suggested they would. That's why I only quoted that part of your post.
