We are about 70 miles NE of LaD and to say the area is saturated is a gross understatement. My horses love their stalls, but it is so nasty and muddy, they are congregating in the three driest stalls we have. This area can't take much more, rain wise.

i'm in southeast arkansas. we've set several records now for rainfall, with several counties having the wettest october ever. i had to take a detour coming home yesterday due to high water. typically it takes me ten minutes to travel to work, one time this spring it took forty five minutes because of high water and downed trees. one of our accounts was hit by a thursday tornado, with about 20-odd rail cars tipped over off their wheels. hell of a sight with them all laying on their sides next to the tracks. but the worst isn't over with rivers rising due to water flowing from up north. hope everyone gets thru the latest bad weather ok.

I just took the dog to the park .. there were trees that rivaled Belmont's paddock tree in size and scope completely toppled over from the the tornados.

As for the water... they say there may have been a failure in the levee about 1/3 of a mile from my house. We'll see. No fun.
