When do they post the list of who gets in first for the oversubscribed races? And why do they list preference if they can still get accepted in both fields even if they are oversubscribed? What is the point of listing a preference?

Poor Mine That Bird tried to run extra fast this week to get folks to pay attention to him and still, pfft! Ok well maybe it was b/c he saw another horse way up ahead and got a little competitive. Still...

Who brings up the rear in the Classic? MTB or Zenyatta?

I think Zenyatta is the most likely winner of the classic, followed by Colonel John....I realize I am in the minority.

How about the go figure's? We know there are always a few every yr. The Desert Code, Sealy Hill big performances that seemingly come out from left field...

Did you bet the Breeders Cup last year?

Zenyatta has a chance to hit the board, only because she runs good over the track, but a horse like Gio Ponti will beat the piss out of her.

Here are early (and meaningless) odds for all the races.

I hope she runs in the classic, she will take money which will benefit someone that actually has a better chance to win the race. Regardless of her chances she will take more money than her actual worth IMO.

Yes I had a very good two days by the way. I don't really know what your point was here. I said I was in the minority, Zenyatta is an underlay...it doesn't mean she can't win.

I think I bet him in his last race on this surface. They have an excuse for it? The grade 3 win on this surface may have been a unique surface (opening day, and way back rating off a hot pace...Gomez was riding like Jesus #2 that day.)

I think we should avoid the pissing contest for a few hours and enjoy this awesome performance. Breeders' Cup / horse racing is an event of opinion, and we all have one, but I would say we all have the opinion the Classic today was one of the most exciting ever.

I put it in the post a couple ahead of yours as well as in the first post in the thread.
