Yes, that's exactly what I said - I doubt that the majority of people identifying themselves as "teabaggers" have any clue what the more common street slang meaning is.

My comment tried to point out the 'good American folks' stereotype you have formed are a much more diverse crowd than you think and include gays, blacks and latinas though admittedly in less numbers than the other side.

That has nothing whatsoever to do with if they are black, white, gay, bi, straight, or latina or irish or not. You brought that up.
