He used to have wicked stuff, but then they stretched him out and he's lost it. Not to mention his confidence/swagger.
Hughes hasn't been to good either in the playoffs and I believe that Girardi's faith is starting to waver in them (hence him staying with Burnett for as long as he did). There are definitely some chinks in the armor.

He really is the worst. Then he doesn't send the guy. On top of that, if they didn't have TWO freaking pinch runners on the roster, they could've had Hinske pinch hit for Swisher, who can't hit a beach ball right now.
