On the big days they still fill the place but otherwise it's a simulcast track. Even with the rain this year they had to have had 4K this year on Maryland MIllions day

They are offering a grade 1 sprint race 2 weeks before the Breeders Cup? 3 of the better sprinters are pre-entered in it? Not good news for the Breeders Cup sprint. Just give the trophy to Zensational already.

Sprinters whose trainers didn't want to go to the BC anyway. Fabulous Strike already wasn't going right? That's why they moved it, there was demand for taking a stab at a dirt sprint quasi-championship it looks like and the trainers probably figured if they were going to point for it, much easier to just bring it forward than work around the vacuum of the BC. I'm looking forward to seeing Vineyard Haven without the DQ drama.

And 2 years in a row. Breeders Cup has been tarnished and doesnt have the prestige as it once was. The 2 day event screwed it up and now we get watered down fields and the best horses dont even run in it.
