Lasix is 3 hours I think, not 24.

Lasix can't be given closer than 4 hours before the race, and the "24-hour medications" of importance is that one non-steroidal anti-inflammatory can be given at appropriate dose (bute, flunixin, ketoprofen).

Shouldn't be a big thing for the second day unless she comes out a little sore post-race, but I imagine the vet would then scratch her Saturday morning if so.

There are also permitted vitamins, electrolytes, and anti-ulcer meds that can be given 24 hours out.

The California Horse Racing Board rules, and rulings (who's in the dog house, who got positives, etc) are all on-line for the public to see.
