Steve can't throw him under the bus and that's understandable. The only thing I question is having him on in the first place. I mean really who gives a s.hit about these clowns? They are a disgrace to horse racing.

When Sheriffs suggests she is better physically , and mentally this year. Steve MUST ask the question, "then why have you decided on such an unambitious campaign"??.. Sherriffs tossed out that Zenyatta was a better animal at five so Steve IMO needed to follow thru with...Yo John have a heart you haven't given your superior mare the opportunity to defend your conviction.. Look I get that Steve is a friend and doesn't want to toss the Zenyatta clan under the bus BUT have a heart IF you are going to have him on and he is going to be given the forum to PRONOUNCE Zenyatta "all that" then he should be fair game to toss 1 fast ball down the middle of the plate?

Steve needed to say John what the heck would you be running in the Distaff for? Seriously in all candor why in the friggin world would Moss/sheriffs consider the distaff at this stage in this mares career.. Honestly the Distaff is certainly not an option and if it is then Sherriff's isn't calling the shots.. NO SANE person could elect to run her in the Distaff unless money was the motivating factor..

Mind you I love the mare...I think the Rachel v Zenyatta talk is complete nonsense..I also think That this mare deserved more then the apple blossom ONCE

Steve has to take the Larry King route. This industry is full of overly sensitive lemmings. If you hurt one of them then they are all gonna follow and jump off the ATR cliff. Then Steve will be left with broadcasting races.

Look Steve asks a lot of tough questions to others. I am a big fan of the show.. Sherriffs skated and so has his charge.. Look I get the dont piss off the guy part but in all candor Sherrifffs suggestted that Zennadda was a better 5 year old well then why has she not raced against faster horses?

i really think the world of the mare..How can the Distaff be an option? How can Sherriffs suggest that if the mare is healthy enough to racethat she won't go in the Classic.. I mean seriosly well enough for the Distaff but not ok run in the Classic.. Have a friggin heart.. She is 5, better then ever, and!!!
