This was bound to happen, NY wins this year, adds even more pitching in the off seasson and is set up for at least 3 of the next 5 World Series Titles.
The Red Sox brass may have wanted Arod a few years ago, but the great majority of the players on the Sox did not want him.

Yeh. They preferred the other 2 juice heads, Manny and Ortiz.

Isn't that incredible? How can any Red Sox fan talk about A-Rod and call him a liar and all that yet they supported Ortiz and Ramirez? But then say Yankee fans are hypocrites? Amazing.

I was actually referring more to how so many Yankee fans boo and diss A Rod the last few years and now they instantly love him because he gets a couple of huge hits. Good for you. I dont recall ever seeing our fans do the same to Ortiz and Manny when they didnt deliver. But then again, A Rod isnt a real Yankee, is he? Hes not the kind of guy who will ever embrace one particular team and give up any of his own bravado for the good of the team, a la Jeter, Matsui, O' Neill, Brosious, etc. Hes a selfish solo act, a real phony who just happens to be one of the 3 or 4 best players in the game. You can have him.

I laughed out loud last night at the Tex haters during his on-field postgame interview.
