Kemp would swing at his mom's head (if he could reach it.)

3 outs away from getting away with this bullsht that's been going on the last week. We struggle against St. Louis, but at least it will start here. We haven't started a playoff series at home in a long time. 2004..Started in St. Louis...2006 Started at Shea....2008 started in Chicago n' then started in Philly. Ain't ideal.

Only bad thing about this win was Kershaw didn't get it. If Joe of had Hudson sacrifice, then probably the right guy could of been rewarded for his huge performance. Man, some of these goggles they have on are as ugly as it gets.

Congrats Scuds! You may now turn your backwards blue bandana around now.

I was hoping the Rockies would pull it off so that my preseason pick of them to win the NL West would look other-worldly. That, and I think we stand a better chance of beating the boys in Blue in rd 1. The mental part is what worries me as well. The Phils should feel as if they have the Dodgeys in their left pocket, esp after last year. The year before that, Colorado spanked us in the first round. Rockies are playing some great ball down the stretch this year, with the Phils playing like they are in a mid-season slump. Utley looks spent, the pitching looks very touchable, and the team as a whole doesnt look like they are playing with any urgency. Not a good time to have those Rocks coming in for a series, imo.

The one thing about the Phils that does bring a smile to my face is how RyHo isn't just resting on his laurels of being a tremendous power hitter. He's gotten soo much better in every other facet of the game. (fielding, baserunning, hitting the opposite way against the shift) His numbers to start off his career have been astronomical. Let's hope he can keep it up.

In another game, I'll say he blows a lead, but the inning ends tied (that's a common thing he does...then, we usually lose in the extras.) When Broxton's career is over, he will have taken an average of 10 years off the life expectancy of most Dodger Fans. He caused this unnecessary stress of this last week. Could of had this done last Sunday, but this guy has to make hell for us.
