I don't believe that I said that age has nothing to do with physical condition. What I said was that not all horses that are the same age have the same amount of wear and tear on their bodies. You can't just throw out a blanket statement that he's nine so therefore he's got age specific issues or injuries. Each horse, just like each athlete, is an individual.
