Really enjoyed the pics especially the one of him looking through the wire window like some kind of prisoner lol - THANKS MUCH !

Miscellaneous Query: Wondered why Redboard King is listed in pedigreequery.com but there's no Harold Carmichael ??? Was also able to put Redboard King in Equibase stable mail, no success with Harold

The reason it isn't in the registry is that we didn't receive a letter of permission from Harold Carmichael himself, so the name is not official. (Harold himself was fine with having a horse named for him, but his business manager wanted a whole explanation of the concept.) So, instead, three versions were sent in Friday:

HAYROLL CARMICHAEL;

HAYROLD CARMICHAEL;

HERALD CARMICHAEL.

Should know in a few days which way it goes...

thanks makes perfect sense and kind of what I suspected - could we go with Hoagy Carmichael as a back-up lol ??? uh guess Herald will do
