No one really cares about fine races, good betting races maybe, but fine races don't do a lot.

I guess my point is this the earliest end of the year I can remember, I think racing ended about 6pm Saturday, for all intensive purposes.

There's plenty of good racing in front of us. While it's sad that Saratoga is ending Belmont Fall Championship meet has a lot of good racing. Oak Tree starts in a month and Keeneland is a month away.

To me racing season ends after Thanksgiving weekend. I'll take a break and slowing start following again in February. The lone exception will be a trip to Aqueduct on New Years Day to get the 2010 calendar.
