Just to play the devil's advocate, couldn't a horse breakdown if they were clean? Horseracing is a risky sport healthwise anyway you want to view it.

Without question, but injecting a horse with cobra venom is certainly increasing the chance of a breakdown. In doing so, he's showing direct disdain for the health of his horse and rider, and indirectly for the other riders and horses in the race.

No one was convicted of INJECTING this in a horse. It was found in a refrigerator in his office, and it belonged to the Vet.You guys have no proof whatsoever that Biancone or the vet ever used this on a horse. You are just ASS-UMING!

He did his time, I wish he would bring all of his horses back to NY and have Julian be his go to rider again. Those were the days.

I would say, fine he did it, but has now served his time and should be allowed to train.

considering how many times biancone has had issues, and how many jurisdictions don't welcome him, i don't agree that he should be able to train away. how many times does someone get to do their time only to come back and do it all again-til they get caught again?

as for the logic that others do drugs, so why get on biancone...when you catch them, you ban them. the more you catch and kick out, the less you have doing the same. hell, are the cops supposed to quit arresting people because there are others breaking the law?
