Horse health care (where insurance is greatly involved) is still (relatively) expensive, however. All animals are at the complete mercy of their owners whether they get any health care at all, or not.

Exactly, which makes us some of us animals scared to think what kind of healthcare we will get when at the mercy of the govt (our owners)
