Remember all the grief I got for saying Zenyatta was better than her?
who's the best horse she beat when winning, dawn after dawn?

Nashoba's Key? ...Yeah, she beat such greats as the synthetic track version of Hystericalady and Zenyatta's multiple Grade 1 winning half sis Balance.

Zenyatta hasn't beat anything to get excited about.

The horse who was 2nd in last years Breeders Cup Distaff was Coco Beach and Music Note was 3rd. They're looking awfully bad now.

Life Is Sweet ran one prior time on polytrack prior to today .. and she was off the board in an ugly Ashland won by the great Little Belle.

But I know, Zenyatta has that dirt win with Brownie Points running 2nd.

The quality of opposition defeated card is not going to score you a ton of points with Zenyatta.

She beat the great Ginger Punch, you know the horse who dominated east coast racing, or did you forget...wait your going to tell me how that was not the great Ginger Punch that day or something.

Nashobas Key was a very very nice race horse, not quite as good as the record but very good none the less.

This implies that Brownie Points was better than Ginger Punch too because she beat her too, which is false.

Drugs knows I am kidding, I loath Ginger Punch and he knows it.

I dont follow Trakus, maybe Fat Man has a better gauge, is this normal for the winner of a big race?

According to Trakus calculations, Zenyatta ran her last quarter mile in :22.49 and reached her maximum speed of 40 mph at the wire.

also, is this fast?

five-sixteenths of a mile in approximately 28.20 seconds

These aren't TRAKUS charts. The data is from the chartmaker, so there most certainly will be some difference in positions (and lengths behind) and splits. More often than not, the differences are not significant.

She also beat Tough Tiz's Sis twice, who then shipped east and won the Ruffian by 12.

Detract from that race all you want. That was a solid win.

The quality of opposition defeated card is not going to score you a ton of points with Zenyatta.

And beating the underbelly of the 3 year olds is? The Derby winner she beat just lost to an allowance horse.

Tough Tiz's Sis was defeated in 5 of her last 6 synthetic track races and I'm still trying to figure out what winning a race on a sloppy dirt track at Belmont has to do with synthetic.

Nothing. Your point wasnt in that context. It was about who Zenyatta has beaten. She beat a horse twice that came east and won the Ruffina by 12.

That's all.
