The other Tony Piazza horse, Piazza D Spagna, was also ready to run, but got bounced around and shuffled and stymied much of the way in the very deep 7th that Gold Vendetta won. Tutti had just come back to her top effort last time and was sitting on a forward move. Gary and Paul were uncertain about the distance, but she ran great and Luz gave her a first class ride.
Combined win tote on Tutti with exacta hits in the Bev D and Million to rescue the day. Gary has a client named Pauline, who has a horse in Wednesday, who somehow had the $903 exacta for $50.... You read that right. |
