| New York Bred Millionaires They have their own website, kind of interesting. Think before you click on the link about how many you can come up with. http://www.nybreds.com/incentives/million_inc.html I have to say, the 2001 Meadowlands Cup that Gander won may be the best race I've ever seen in person. A 3 horse stretch duel the entire last quarter, absolutely awesome. I love that horse. Can't find video of it, have looked everywhere. |

| West Virginia At the bottom of that list is West Virginia by Tomorrows Cat. We have a 2 yr. old in training at Arlington with CS who is a half to WV by Smarty Jones.... He is getting over sore shins and should be put back to training in a week or two for a debut this fall hopefully. Reports have been good so far. PSH

| My favorite is Say Florida Sandy. Only the likes of Commentator can pass over him for second on the list with a good run tomorrow. Say Florida Sandy won his $2M as a NY-bred in sprints. Purses in sprint races don't compare to those of routes, and he made the money anyway! The only horse in front of him today is a Kentucky Derby/Preakness/Jockey Club Gold Cup winner! Say Florida Sandy.........what a hickory horse he was! |
