Just let it go. Ignore is the best feature.
He voices an opinion that he feels as fact. When he gets called on it, he resorts to name-calling and childish behavior of telling everybody that they are "gay, 20-something, and the problem with America today." He obviously can't handle criticism and would never be chosen to be on a team debate. He commands "respect your elders." I understand that, but you still have to earn it. Right now he has totally lost it. You can't even reason with him. So I say just let him go and let the Trolls have at him.
