Default Gotta love Saratoga/NYRA - Condition Book

Toga's first condition book is out, and they have a 150k maiden claimer for 2 year olds, both boys and girls, pretty awesome. I don't think I have seen a claiming race that high before.

Meanwhile, for people that like two year old races, they are LOADED with baby races, 41 was my count, within the first 18 race days

$150K? Must be inflation.

It might be an an effort to get starters, or other alternative(s) races filled sooner. Although it's only one race, it might help horses outside NY as well. Don't know.

Chuck-

Surely you forget that Kenneally has had 3 2YO winners at Saratoga (in the last 5 years).

Nothing to do with friendship, just realism.

what does the last 5 yrs have to do with 2009? keep reading that booklet that they publish about trainers and jocks who did well in the last 3 yrs at the spa, throw his 2 yr olds out at your own peril this year

It has to do with the fact that you're touting 2YOs from a trainer that has had little to no success with 2YOs at Saratoga in the last 5 years. In fact, two of those winners came for a tag.

My statement was intended for those that weren't familiar, specifically so that they could find out that Kenneally is not a trainer who does particularly well with 2YOs at the Spa. I'm glad you got some inside information though, I'm sure you'll do great.

Again what does his stock of 2 yr olds for this year have anything to do with what he had in the barn over the last 5 yrs

He will have a positive ROI with his 2 yr olds at saratoga this year , i will wager if you like Steve can hold the $$$$

I'm flattered that you think I give a s.hit about whether Eddie Kenneally has a positive ROI at the meet with 2YOs. I don't.

You're right, I mean, who could resist saying something that would evoke such a reaction out of you?

By the way, your man is 3-16 with 2YOs this year including 1-12 with 2YOs in MSW races. That's good for an ROI of $0.42. Overall, he's at a cool $1.57 since his 2 MCL winners paid well.

Again, I hope your source provides good information and you profit, but all I did was make available to everyone here some ironclad facts.

No basic logic courses in college for you, Gales?

the same 2 year olds aren't going but the same crew is --- a crew that's shown to be pretty much INEPT at winning with 2 year olds (1st time starters, whatever). That's what the data is showing.
