GEE,

You should elaborate for everyone on this effort: DEBUTED winning a 2yo stake! Was VERY impressive.

I was at the evolving CRC Saturday, and Game Face was quite dominant winning off by herself effortlessly. Thought Gio Ponti was super good and that Atomic Rain looked sharp.

Looking forward to watching the Gold Cup and Royal Heroine as we were driving back to Boynton from Miami when they ran...

Another note, Razo should only be bet on cadillac's from now on. He has really fallen off lately, might have a little to do with Rene Douglas going down but while Giant Oak wasn't his best today, he still gave this horse zero chance, pressed the panic button, if he is where the 2 is, I think he runs 2nd.
Where is that? Blocked behind a wall of horses, looking hopelessly beaten an eighth of a mile out?

Marcus was beside himself a quarter of a mile in with the ride Razo was giving Oak...and it didn't get any better from there.

We went to Anthony's for pizza/wings. There's very good Corned Beef around Boynton at Flakowitz.

Wide all the way around, uncovered, and still finishing like that has to make Gio Ponti the most impressive horse of the day IMO.

I know you miss a good part of the game..Trust me you expose yourself plenty. When you do we all recognize it and have a good laugh. If you were half as good as you think you wouldn't be so close minded from embracing the parts of the game which continue to escape you..

BTW never mess with CJ what he does you can only hope to do. CJ is an innovator not a wanna be
Really? Do I expose myself as much as some of the in-the-know types here? And I certainly have a very good laugh as some of the **** they offer. You included, of course, When was the last time you had an opinion?
I got a good laugh out of Rail Trip being a MILER, for example. Or Imperial Council being a Derby horse. etc.

I don't mess with CJ. CJ is the preeminent pace handicapper presently. I respect his opinion more that anyone's on this board (excluding trips, of course). In my own way, I'm also very good at pace. I'm certainly much better at it than those not at CJ's level. I 'probe' CJ, to see how what I do fits in with his stuff. And, like it or not, I'm a better trip handicapper than CJ, AND, just about everyone else here or on any other board. I know that sucks, BRO, that I can just look at a race and have a strong opinion, while all you other ****ers are using SOMEONE ELSE'S figures and statistics, and all the other bs. You just have to deal with it.

P.S. you're getting fixated on me like all the other ****ers that I have on ignore. I know you want attention but sooner or later offer an opinion.

Not colic. From Racing Post:

TAKEOVER TARGET'S future is in the balance after he cracked a cannon bone in the Darley July Cup at Newmarket on Friday.

Screws put in, taking him home to recover, and, one hopes, a happy retirement.

Edgar was like a statue on Game Face, he just blew them a way much the best.

Yes, A 2yo by medaglia d oro made debut in $100,000 stake race and won very very easily after posting monster early fractions. Maybe see you at flakowitz Steve thats in my neck of the woods. If not soon at the spa

I agree with everyone regarding Gio Ponti, there are not too many horses that can overcome that type of trip and still win rather comfortably, the only blemish if one were to be picky is the quality of horses he beat. The second and third place finishers have a penchant of not winning races recently excluding the Italian Derby. No disrespect, but that isn't a key race from my perspective.

Royal Punisher won pretty decently. He was one of the more obvious likely winners for a FTS I've seen for awhile and stopped the clock in 115.23 Saturday at HP. Got a 98 BSF for those that care.

Apparently a guy named Jess Jackson bought her. And add another $300,000 to the already ridiculous price.

I couldn't agree more. 3 mil for a filly who hasn't raced or produced is a lot more insane than a 1.5 for a filly who you know can run fast. Plus Stevie A. will move her forward in a hurry. lol

Better then Godolphin at least will see her race and race often if she is healthy enough. I have a feeling Jess can take the hit if she turns into a frog so 1.5 mil sounds about right. Especially if I was on the sell side.

Considering that with one try under her belt she's already won more races than that one wonderful horse who cost more than 6x her price.....

Doesn't seem so ridiculous at all.
