4-4 for now. Can you imagine if Sheffield makes it back as well??? Rumor has it that opposing teams will be flying in the mothers of their starting pitchers to help console them after they get rocked for 12 runs on 17 hits in 6 innings. It ain't gonna be pretty. As a Yankee fan, I friggin love it.

"Tampa Bay counters with Tim Corcoran (4-7, 3.96), who has gone 0-7 with a 4.97 ERA in 11 outings since the All-Star break. In his final appearance before the break, Corcoran was credited with a relief win against New York on July 9."

This is the fool your guys rocked? What does that have to do with the MLB? F'N knocked some trash around. So what?

Mariano Rivera, RP
· Jason Giambi, 1B
· Mike Mussina, SP

What about these 3 gazillionaires? You gunna have them healthy. If you keep injecting Giambi in the wrist, a year from now, that juice king won't even be able to wack himself off.

Mike-
What kind of odds do you want me to give you on the Yankees winning the World Series? I'll take the other 7 teams if we can agree on fair odds.

Vegas odds are 2-1. Seems about right. Three opportunities to beat em in a playoff series. I;d say thats about fair.

2/1 seems very fair. I have seen them at anywhere from 9/5 up to 3/1.
Tell you what, lets nix this idea. You are a friend and they are your favorite team in any sport so I'm sure you'll be happy just having them win, as I would the Red Sox, whom I have never layed a single dollar on in my life.

If you shop around and really want to make some kind of bet, I'm sure you can find slightly higher than 2/1. Theres a lot of people on here who bet sports so maybe they know a good place. I wouldnt wait too long though. Their odds may shrink.

Tim they are gonna go down in odds. Matsui's successful return indicates that by playoff time he will be fully tuned up. I don't care what kind of pitching staff the other teams have, nobody is gonna shut this lineup down!!!!!!
CF Damon
SS Jeter
RF Abreu
3B A Rod
1B Giambi
LF Matsui
2B Cano
C Posada
Dh(take your pick between Melky Cabrera, Bernie Williams, or Sheffield if healthy by then)

Look at that hitting. I mean, if you are a pitcher you are gonna have a nervous breakdown. WHere exactly are the outs? I mean you are pitching to a guy like Cano in the 7th slot, with Posada and a DH like Melky or Sheffield behind that.

I just don't see how anyone is gonna beat a lineup like that.
