I am thinking the Cardinals. They have been playing much better lately and Carpenter has looked brilliant. They have nothing in their bullpen, which could be what gives them the exit. But at around 10/1, I think they are a pretty good stab. All they have to do is win 2 rounds in a very average NL, then hope they dont catch the White Sox in the WS.
I have a funny feeling that they are the forgotten team this year. Considering they have been favored to win it all basically the last 3 years in a row and havent gotten close to getting it done. Maybe they will fool everybody, no?
