Not sure he could have done much else, but after rushing up to press the lead, it wasn't shocking that he didn't have anything for the winner in the stretch.

I need to watch the replay of the early part of the race.

Thanks, helped a lot today as nothing else has seemed to go right. Just had a feeling in that sequence had to take a stand somewhere and go wide in other legs, barely got our single, but the structure turned out right and gave us a shot at big plays.

We split Byk's pk4/pk6 at the Wood, so still a shot to have a really good day!

I cut the 3 out of the 6th race as a cost cutting measure.

I understand what you are saying, the horse did get rank, I suppose he either has to hold and fight or just let the horse go. Probably screwed either way.

He got rank, I would guess, because they were crawling. Not sure it really mattered anyway.
