Agree with all that was said already, we were already in town for the day so were there early (didn't have to fight the traffic) but wow, wall to wall, long lines ... I don't know if I'd do the Friday night thing again without a reason. I agree, it did seem a younger crowd that usually doesn't come to the track - they didn't bet, but sure seemed to be having a great time! Will be interesting to see if a "Friday night" crowd develops. Hot, geesh, it was hot!

I really think a lot of tracks should experiment with night racing. If you work days, there is no way you can go to the track at noon. Del Mar and Saratoga should have a few fridays with night racing in mind.
