This is a word thrown out all the time meant to be a demeaning thing. Why exactly is that?.

Now, the saddest thing I saw, the other day, was some media wonks making Hitler out to be a liberal. So they could associate Obama with him. It was pathetic these people had access to public airways.

Frankly, I think that people today simply are not very educated, and throw words out there whether they fit or not.
