Max bet on Youmzain. If it was softer, Ask would have a shot, but everything is in Youmzaind favour. I like Oh Goodness Me in the Oaks, but I agree with NoChance, if Rainbow View stays, she wins..

Good luck Brock, you must have balls of steel having a max bet in the Coronation. I agree that Youmzain looks to have everything in his favour and there are no such horses as Zarkava in here, but he never seems to have any luck, seems to find one too good often. Everything suggests he should be winning here, but it's a no bet race for me. I'm not convinced Ask will handle the track, he'd be a lay for me if they started piling into him.

Look Here hasn't run for sometime, but Becketts string are coming into form now and we all know she is a high class filly that handles the track.

The dark horse of the race is Duncan for me, he looked ready for this step up in grade when cantering away with a listed race at Ascot. We also know he handles the track well. If he does run well, I think the banker of the day will be Lake Poet in the ten furlong handicap.

Personally I don't think there is any question about Rainbow View and the trip. I went out on a limb before the Guineas and said she couldn't win (a brave shout when she was odds on). Ever since she won the fillies mile I've thought of her as an Oaks filly. As her 2yo career went on, it seemed as though (to me, anyway) she was steadily losing some of her speed. In the fillies mile it seemed to take her a long time to get past Fantasia in a race they went a good clip in, and I took the opinion then that she needed a step up in trip.

They blamed the firm ground for the Guineas defeat, but I'm not convinced. She was staying on at the end, her head never went up in the air and she ran straight. All of which suggest the ground wasn't a key problem. If you want to see a filly that really didn't like the fast ground that day, watch the race again and keep a close eye on Lahaleeb. To me she was simply outpaced in the final third of the race.

She isn't very big, so a track like epsom should hold no fears for her. It's an easy twelve furlongs, which is probably ideal. My only concern is that there is a real chance of her boiling over before the start.

Unlucky Brock. I'm yet to see the coronation, was he unlucky or did he just run his usual race?

I'm gutted about Rainbow View, I was so confident today. Who knows what would have happened if she hadn't have been stopped in her run? It was at a crucial stage as she was coming between horses and looked to be running on powerfully. After then she had no chance of getting into it.
