Why? Because it's the 6th foul? Because fkn birdbrain MARK JACKSON flapped his lips? He's not got his feet set. If you're gunna call a charge on that then there would be hell of a lot of charge calls. He doesn't own that spot. He's not squared up to him for a charge. Feet n' body still moving. Like I said, if that can be called a charge, you'd have to go back n' say they missed a ton of charge calls.

Are you blind or just a Lakers fan? Having your feet set means nothing when all contact is instigated by the offensive player's elbow/forearm. If all contact was cause of the defensive player not having position then you could have a point, but you're so far off the mark here.

Those LA fans who showed up near the end of the first half and left with four minutes to play are chanting MVP at a guy who just scored 22 points with 7 turnovers and already decisively lost the MVP award a month ago. F*cking clueless lemmings.

Contact was caused because he moved in his way. He's not set. He's trying to take a spot when he doesn't have his feet set(and his body is still moving...just like the offensive player's body was moving.) It's just a blocking foul that people don't like, because it's a 6th foul. Doesn't matter what you think. You want to call a charge on that, then think how many there would be each game.

So anytime someone is on defense you just dribble to either side and knock them on their ass with your forearm? Yeah, somehow I'm guessing you never played much basketball.

Yeah, and it led to 8 turnovers last night when the officials actually called it or made it a no call.

Many of those turnovers were bad passes, not the initiation of contact. He got the benefit of a lot of those calls.

Dwight Howard doesnt get so lucky

yes, as he is without question the worst shooter in NBA history, and the league has mandated he win championships every single year. cleveland has so many titles because of this mandate it is unfathomable. the cavs are going for their 6th title in a row this year. I can see why everyone has such outrage for that team. In a couple years they'll be real close to the Lakers and Celtics for total championships. With the league mandate, I think they may have as many as Boston after this year.

He's on his a-s-s, cuz he tried to take a spot without being there long enough to establish position. Happens all the time, and it's a block. Funny you're so worried about a forearm when NENE is doing all kind of thuggery every game he plays in. You didn't get your call. You'll get it in Denver. You didn't lose by a couple, but bitch away.

You're trying to compare a guy driving throwing his forearm at a defender who is just shifting to get into position to a guy in the post using his forearm to maintain his position? I don't even know what to say but to loosely paraphrase Shaq and ask "Scuds, tell me how Kobe's dick tastes"?

They call that forearm when a guy is going to the basket(without being blocked,) and a defender is guarding him(not blocking him.) It's called when someone is trying to get more room against a defender who's legally guarding him. Tonite, this was a block, and a forearm. Why has Gasol turned his body sideways? It's because he's illegally blocked by someone who is not in that spot soon enough to own that spot. He's not there soon enough. So, he must give ground, or it's a blocking foul. He's blocking him. So, Gasol has to turn sideways, or they will hit heads. If no block, then no forearm. The forearm is put out to protect the ball from someone illegally blocking him. He didn't use the forearm to gain room from someone guarding him legally. He did it because he's been turned sideways by an illegal block, and he's protecting the ball. In that situation, the block is what is normally called. People don't want it called in this situation ,because

1)It's the 6th foul on NENE.

and

2) Nene was close to having position( but he's clearly still moving.) Would of been an offensive foul if the defender wasn't blocking totally. He needs to give ground, but he's a retarded thug. So ,he thinks he has established position. He hasn't. He's moving. See, this is what people are ignoring about many of these Denver players(they simply aren't playing smart enough.) He ignores the rules, and complains on almost every call. He has had atleast 5 fouls each game. Not like he respects the rules on how to play defense.
