I feel the same way, I just feel like the 2 and 3 have the best shot, but I can't rule out the 5 and if I use 3 horses in a 4 horse race the one I don't use is a lock to win!

I'm going to stay close to my original ticket.
2,5 (try to beat Rosario)
3,9
2,3,5 (adding the 2 on the drop with the constant 70 Beyers)
1,5,7,9
$48 bucks.

Early P4:

1) 3
2) 1,2,3,5
3) 2,3
4) 1,7

$16

Chalky budget play for me here. I'm very inexperienced with Pick 4s.

If I decided to go a more aggressive route, does anyone have an opinion on the 7 as a single in the 4th?

Sometimes I just need talking out of doing stupid $hit...

Why would you all of a sudden single a horse that you don't even have on your original ticket?
That being asked, I personally think that is the race where you probably have the best chance to spread and get a price.

I have the 1 and the 7 on my original ticket. I'm talking about the 4th race.

My late P4 play is

2/1,2,6/1,2,3,4,7/1,9,10

I know it's after race 5, but my 'net has been acting shady. Had to get the bet in on TVG via my Blackberry!

Good luck to everyone else tonight.

My bad. So if you single him, are you spreading in another leg or are you just trying to save 8 bucks? In the long run you aren't going to hit many pick 4's on 8 or even 16 dollar tickets. I'm not sure what you are looking to accomplish.

Well yeah, I'm spreading on the 2nd and 3rd races. I should have explained myself better.

Good luck! That would be a great hit on a skinny ticket.
