Douglas was just in a really bad fall as Theriot made him run up on a dead horses' heals.

Horse flipped over and landed on him, and on the head on, he wasn't moving....

the head on made it look worse, horse landed right on top of him and the horse wasnt getting up, really looked scary.

Scary is about the right response. Theriot is going to be in trouble, both from Arlington and guessing other parties....

He needs some time off bigtime from that one. HRTV said Rene is talking some, but in a ton of pain (understandable from watching that). Hope he's not out long.

i saw that a few minutes ago-looked really bad. any further word on rene or the horse?

Here's the latest I found on Rene. No word I've seen on the horse.

Douglas, who was conscious and alert, was taken directly to Northwest Community Hospital after complaining of back pain and soreness in his neck. No further information is available on Douglas's condition at this time.
