![]() In the Utah series
Brown was the first guard off the bench in the first four games. Vujacic was second. They switched for the last game. Farmar didn't even get into the last three games. Minutes played: Series average Brown-about 17 Vujacic-about 15 Farmar-under 2 In the Houston series In the first game, Vujacic was the first guard off the bench. Played almost 14 minutes. Brown was second and played 12 1/2. Farmar played just under three. Game two, Farmar was first off the bench and played nearly 18. Game three when Fisher was suspended, Farmar started and went almost 33 minutes. Farmar was a starter in one game and first off the bench in five others. Series average Farmar-about 17 Brown-about 14 Vujacic-about 14 So far in the Denver series Game one, Vujacic was first off the bench V-13.07 F-9.22 B-6.09 Game two, Brown was first off the bench B-16.46 F-6.14 V-5.35 What I'm getting at is that Phil has no clue what he's doing. He messes with guys so much that they don't know if they are coming or going. Sure, you want to say that it's good that he does it that way because it keeps all the guys on their toes and ready at all times because you don't know when you will get your number called. But that's not how it really works. You'd like it to since they are professionals but it doesn't. Guys like to know their roles. A guy like Farmar doesn't know from game to game if he's going to play 20 minutes or won't get off the bench. Brown barely gets in the game in the first one and gets almost 17 minutes the next. And you have to feel for Bynum. He doesn't know whether he's coming or going. From night to night, he doesn't know if he's going to start or come off the bench. Doesn't know if he'll get 20-25 minutes or 10-12. Doesn't know if he'll play in the second half of a game or not. The Lakers are as successful as they are because of Kobe Bryant. Plain and simple. Mariano Rivera (that's my name for Jackson) doesn't help things. He throws out weird combinations, doesn't have a regular rotation, doesn't do things to control the momentum of games. He just hopes that Kobe will bail him out night after night and make him look like a genius.

![]() [quote=Cannon Shell] LeBron James WAS matched up with an NBA playoff finals PG QUOTE]
LOL. You get funnier as you continue to reach. Its almost..kind of cute. Rafer Alson is now a "NBA playoff finals" PG. LOL Do we have to go over that dignified list? Do you realize that Derek fisher, a man you called a BUM, is a NBA champion PG? Does that change the fact that houston, a playoff team, gave alston away midseason for a backup? Alston is one of the worst pg's in the NBA. Regardless, what you fail to understand is that it wasnt about position and lebron wasnt GUARDING him. Anything outside of that is an obtuse observation and i know you are not obtuse...just stubborn. ![]() |
