My Dad is a bigger Laker Fan. So, I keep up with it, but would say I am more of a Celtic hater than a Laker lover. Any of these final 4 teams would be fine with me. None of them have that thug attitude that Garnett, Pierce, and Big Baby have. Sunday Night was the best day so far in 2009. Still can't believe the Magic made all those shots. I guess it was because nobody thought they would. So, the pressure was off. Even a lot of loose balls went their way. It was bizarre. Pretty much the best example ever of why you should win it in 6. That rally stuff (cuz we mentally are giants) for the Celts never got on track, because the Magic wouldn't let them. Reminds me of Valenzuela winning on the front with just any brave hog. Honestly, I never knew the seats there were yellow. At like 2 minutes left, that place was pretty much evacuated. Was weird. Like they were there, and then, they weren't.

I'll tell ya what, Gales. I am no genius, but even I can figure out this David Wright guy is way too comfortable at the plate. Anyone that comfortable up there is gunna hurt you (eventually.) That can't be like that. Pay these people money to coach, and they can't see something obvious like that?

LOL...Eugenio would prefer to start games. Duh

BTW, we're 7 1/2 games up. BULL still shaky, but seems like there are enough scab types coming up to bat at the right time. DELGADO injury is hurting the Mets quite a bit.

Poor fundamental baseball is what's killing the Mets. Too many errors, poor baseruning and lack of power (no homeruns so far 6 games into road trip). Obviously not having Delgado hurts, but that's not the reason they are losing.

For some reason, the Dodgers haven't been getting the needed hits to win extra inning games. Monday Night was a good example of that. Bases loaded in extra innings with no outs. What happens? Furcal pops out to a too shallow left field. Then O Dog hits a groundball right to some scab fill-in at 1st base. That should of ended the inning. That would of been a double play if Delgado was in the game. Instead, Reed (or whoever) throws the ball to the Dodgers on-deck circle(instead of the catcher.) I think the Mets would of won that if that play had been made. Then, last night, this scab called R Martinez goes 0 for 5, and leaves 4 on base. He got doubled up in a crucial point of the game. Why is that guy playing? We got rid of him. I'm guessing it's an injury. Our pitching in the 7th n' 8th is going to be a big question mark the whole season. So, if you've got that guy up (a Buffalo Minor team player) with men on base in the 7th n 8th, it's a really big problem for the Mets.

Reyes re-injured that calf. Don't know how Mets are gunna win with him n' Delgado out. Huge psych. advantage to the opposition when you have all those scab players in that line-up.
