There is no reason to think he couldn't be a decent stakes horse on the lawn, and actually the addition of blinkers could make him a stakes horse on the dirt as well. All things considered, it looks like he's fairly good. |

with the way hes bred to love the distance, I am surprised nobody has said the "B" word...
Hey - last year it was won wire-to-wire. Seriously he is bred to get a mile and a half, and if they keep stretching him out, it would be cool to see him run with the "real" turf horses. You don't see much quality speed in the 11 and 12 furlong classic turf races. He could dictate tactics in some of those races if he keeps improving. Who knows... he's still probably going to be a very tempting to bet-against in his allowance or stakes debut. |
