Sadly, I feel like there's a lot of horses that shouldn't be running that run often at the Mountain. The odd performances you see are really just horses feeling good or not feeling good on one day or another. Thankfully it's a relatively safe track, and they have less breakdowns than you might expect. I went there once, it's a really strange place. Seriously. Like when I walked in they were like "you're from out of town, why the phuck would you bother coming here?"
