so very hard to say as we lost a great member of our family it seems, Joeyblueeyes who was named in honor of our brother Joe who we lost all too soon. Left us as he was doing what he loved best, racing, at his home track of calder race course. For all the joy you brought us rest in peace Joey.

I'm so sorry for you and for your family.

I need to add Junctiontwentyfour, 8 year old gelding, who fell and died at Newton Abbot and Chief Editor, (winner of the Dubai Duty Free H. at Newbury two weeks prior), 5 year old trained by Jarvis who sadly had a heart attack and died at Newbury. (He had a pretty nice record... 6 - 3 - 2 of 15).

Rest in peace, all of you.

Barathea, winner of the 1994 Breeders' Cup Mile and a champion in England and Ireland, was euthanized May 13 due to complications of laminitis, according to Racing Post. The 19-year-old stallion stood at Rathbarry Stud in Ireland and was the sire of Group 1 winners Tobougg, Magical Romance, and Tante Rose.

Moor Spirit, at Kelso.

He was 12 years old and this was his 38th start...

He'd been pulled up quite a few times in his career including in his last race, exactly one month ago.

Rest in peace.
