Last year the White Sox "magically transformed" into a team who demolished everybody in their path in the playoffs. You cant tell me their team is that much different this year? Go back, check out how all their super pitchers tanked in August & September, nearly blowing the AL Central lead, which at one point was like 13 games!
I agree, home field would be a feather in NY's cap. Whether it will be enough remains to be seen, we'll find out. At least you have your team in there! |

On July 18th, 3 1/2 months into the season, the White Sox owned baseball's 2nd best record overall and were only 3.5 games behind the team with baseball's best record overall the Tigers. There record was 58-34! They still own a 11-5 advantage over the Tigers this year in head to head. I dont know how you can say the White Sox havent played great baseball this year, at least for a great part of the season. |
