OK, so we've got this--both are going for it, but NJ is really behind the 8-ball legally. Good luck to Delaware, however!

You pretty much nailed it by saying that NJ screwed the pooch when it had the option and denied it. Even though NJ has some hurdles, from what I've heard, NJ will be having sports betting in the future. It's just a matter of time and energy before it gets done.

Well, there are Congressmen currently trying to reduce anti-gambling laws in the U.S. Congress (Barney Frank trying to get online gambling restrictions eliminated.) If that passes, I would have to think there would be a strong possibility of the loosening of the PASPA restrictions.

On which belief? I firmly believe NJ will have sports betting some time in the future. I just don't know when.
