This filly has gotten very good setups in her past two races; but she's also run when asked. But she should never have beaten Ventura, as she's just not that good.
He's patient, a good trait to have on turf courses. While I agree he is a very good turf jockey the patience sometimes doesn't work on dirt as well. To me he's from the Pat Day school of riding, he'll give you heart palpitations when you are on him, right now I don't know who the best rider is, I'm not sure he is to me yet. I'll agree he times the wire as well as anyone, however the sense of pace, making all the right moves in the body of races, timing that Jerry Bailey once exhibited once in his career, I haven't seen anyone today with those qualities.
