I don't know if the poster was being silly, but I took his question seriously. I know it is a very extreme position to take, but I am always open to ideas. Look no one thought this horse was in the race to win the derby and if someone had posted he was going to win by almost 7, the van probably would have been called to take them to the ward. Still it was a 7 length victory and again if he didn't get the inside trip he still probably would have won. Off track and a liking to CD may have also been factors. Wait and see approach here. Slug or for real...

To me , the horse can run so he'll be single digits in the Preakness and the probable fav . The Belmont , let's take it one race at a time .

Well the horse did make a mockery out of the Derby, so whos to say that he couldn't turn the whole triple crown into a joke this year?

If anyone made it into a mockery, it was the rest of the field stinking it up. It's most likely a fluke, but don't hate the horse, he's the only one who lifted a hoof.

anything can happen in this sport. thats what makes it great. that being said, i would not draw any conclusions from that race in the slop. plus contenders were sidelined that might come back. people don't understand that many times this race is a "toss". he could run great at pimlico but there have been many that don't win again for awhile.

well Pigs did fly on Saturday... so I guess anything is possible.

On a fast dry dirt track in two weeks i expect the Birdman to run 8th or so... but who knows... if it rains in two weeks and again three weeks after that... nevermind I still cant see it happening.

I'm withholding any comments in case Mother Nature decides to bless "BIRD" with rain again.
