Announced attendance was 12,000. But that includes season ticket sales. These were probably 3,000 at the game.

That's terrible that so small a crowd witnessed the gem by Sanchez! I hear they cant decide on a place for a new stadium...MLB want it in town but they're looking at Hialeah also. So much potential for the youngest team in Majors!

South Florida doesn't deserve pro sports teams.Most any other city with a team in the Wildcard race would have that place atleast half full.There is no excuse for a town not supporting a team that is playing above .500,and Wild card capable.None.Do you think Milwaukee,or Pittsburgh would act this way if they had a hot team?

The Reds were in the Wild Card up until about a week ago and they had to cut the ticket prices in half and have $1 Hot Dogs to get people out to the Cardinals Series. They are doing the same thing for the San Diego Series next week...

Amazing what the Marlins have accomplished in like 15 years of existence? 4 different players tossing a no hitter. 2 World Series titles. The team gets stripped down to bare bones yet they still find themselves in a realistic chase for the wildcard. I hope they get in this year. This is a very fun team to watch. Its not their fault where they play or how many people they play in front of. This is a great baseball story.

That's ridiculous. Dolphins draw. Heat draws. Panthers do ok. Baseball at Dolphins Stadium is a lousy experience. Period. Rain, heat, humidity make it a lousy place to see a game.

Saying So Florida does not deserve pro sports teams is like saying LA doesn't deserve an NFL team. Oh, wait ....

We don't deserve(or want) a Pro NFL team.You guys in South Florida don't deserve a MLB team.Let me tell ya something.The Halos play in a damn ugly stadium,but people go there to support that team.Go to their site,and look at the photos of the stadium.Put the pointer on various locations.It's ugly.

The A's are doing it just fine.If you have a team playing good ball,then that's what should matter.They should have 30k a night to see the Marlins fight for that Wildcard.A man playing for a playoff spot got a no hitter in his own house,and that few of his fans were there?

I was at Angels Stadium a couple years ago. It's not much. Especially those boulders out in center field. Those real or Flintstone rocks?

But LA is a comfortable outdoor climate during the summer. Miami is far from it unless you're on the waterfront. April/early May at the ballpark here are ok. Average game time temp during the summer is 89 degrees with 90% humidity and 90% chance of rain. It ain't close to comfortable.
