For the Derby, my biggest requirements besides the standard 'not confusing the horses with other horses' is a good hearty 'and they're off' or something and then a thundering 'and down the stretch they come.' In fact if he can just get the 2nd one, I'm good. I'll take "and away they go" at the beginning too because that's grown on me.
He should try that "Boogity, boogity, boogity ... let's go racing" thing.

Actually, I think MJ is pretty darn good. Tough shoes to fill, but I like this guy's style and voice.

I like the guy alot. I like the increased discussion before the race, the commentary, and I like the race calls. Good choice for the next 20 years by Churchill.

In the Oaks, didn't this Churchill guy say something about Stone Legacy unleashing a "massive run" in 2nd?

What did he think of Twice A Prince in the '73 Belmont?

For the Bravo production. If you watch the replay on Blood-Horse or Twinspires you'll get the actual track announcer.

And did a lovely job. Question, what does that mean for the Derby? Will I have to be subjected to anybody other than Mark for that one? I had to catch his version on Youtube. I don't remember hearing "Rachel Alexander" once.

If NBC is showing the race, I believe that will be Durkin. Track feed will be Mark.

That's total horseshit. Listen to the calls and you'll hear just the opposite! Unbelieveable !

I don't have to justify dick to you. You're entitled to your opinion as I am mine.

Thanks for listening.

So the lower the odds the more hysterical the call? One would think longshots would get the hysterical call. I mean who gives a s.hit about an 8/5 shot winning but crackheads and grandmas? Granted Hollywood Park is full of crackheads...but grandmas? Ok maybe 10 crackhead grandmas on site.

I lost my sensitivity to blowhard, no life, pretenders many moons ago. What you say to or about me means less than nothing to me.

I look and respond to these posting boards because I think it's fun. That and I enjoy sharing some inside aspects of the game with real fans. Not pathetic haters.

You could not possibly be more insigificant to me.

Thinking anything else is flattering yourself to a laughable degree.

Thanks for listening.

Have a great night.

All the best.

Didn't Stronach fire you through e-mail? If so, that's f.uckin' hilarious. No wonder why you're wound up tighter than Dick's hatband.
