I bet the Eagles pick up a Defensive Lineman who ends up being a bust... but they get a couple pro bowlers from the 4-6 rounds..

Happy Birthday!
If Maclin is gone at 17 (most likely), I wouldn't mind seeing the Jets pick up Knowshon or trade down with the Eagles.

As a Mizzou fan, I think whichever team ends up with Maclin will be disappointed in the long run.
I loved the kid as a Tiger, and he plays very fast, but he is a little inconsistent with his hands and his route running. I fear he is the next Ted Ginn Jr.
That being said, he played with a very weak-armed QB in college (Chase Daniel is accurate, but with zero zip), so perhaps a pairing with a big arm at the next level will give him more opporutnities down the field.

The trade: Patriots get Randy Moss for a 4th round pick.

The result: two 16-0 regular seasons in his first 3 years with the Pats.

Not for anything, I just saw Stafford up close and there is no way he is 6-3!
I would say that 6 foot might even be a stretch.

The trade: Raiders get Randy Moss for the #7 pick in the draft, Napolean Harris, and a late round pick.

The result: 4-12 then 2-14 before Moss is shipped out of town for a 4th rounder.

Easy there princess.

The Raiders offensive line couldn't hold a block long enough for the quarterback to complete his seven step drop while still on his feet.

Maybe if Moss was actually running his patterns instead of jogging them the quarterback wouldn't have had to take a seven step drop.

The offensive coordinator was off in Montana running a bed and breakfest for the last several years and insisted on a seven step drop.

That was the most inept offensive I've ever seen that year. They had turnstiles for offensive lineman.

People forget that Moss was on pace for a 2K yard recieving season before injuring his hamstring in his first year with the Raiders .. and he was basically a decoy for much of the rest of the season after that.

It's hard to run effective routes when you can't run. His teammates were so impressed by his remarkable display of courage that year ... that he was voted a captain for the first time in his career the following season.

Watching every Raaaaaaiiiiidddeeeerrrrsssssssssssss game.. the ONLY game he really tried was the opening nite game @ foxboro... and then he just went thru the motions..... Just ask the Vikings fans about the last few years of Moss.... I keep forgetting .....How many rings does he have ?

No chance on Sanchez being there at 17, but for some cray reason that he was it's would seem to be a no-brainer.

I don't want him, but if he's there at 17 they'll probably grab him.
