Stormalory. Do we know what happened? I saw he was pulled up when I read about Orthodox winning.

Heck while I'm at it, also waiting for news on Bob Neumeier.

stormalory broke his cannon bone and was euthanized.

The American Turf was marred by the fatal breakdown of favored Stormalory, a royally bred son of Storm Cat who was favored to win the race for trainer Bill Mott. Stormalory was pulled up before the half-mile pole with a fractured left-front cannon bone and pastern, and shortly thereafter was euthanized, according to Dr. Mary Scollay, equine medical director for the Kentucky Racing Commission.

This sucks.. Was listening to Steve's segment yesterday with Mott talking about him... What a shame...

Yeah me too. Sad. His breeding wasn't too shabby (obviously that's not the reason it's sad, it's just something I noticed when looking up his name). His full brother is 2yr this year. Did Storm Cat get any mares in foal in 2008?
